The Fantastic Line-Up

A social-first series designed to re-energize BaBylissPRO’s feed by turning existing gold and blue tools into a cohesive, collectible lineup. “The Fantastic Line Up” brought the brand’s most iconic designs together in a unified post, while the story extension invited the community to engage directly through a poll asking, “Which tool is your favorite?”


Strategy

This social series came together as a last-minute initiative, giving me the opportunity to experiment with new workflows. I relied on ChatGPT to assist in developing the visuals, allowing me to test the potential of AI image generation within the context of an established professional brand.

The series was built for two key touchpoints:

  • In-feed post: Introduced the entire collection under one bold identity, “The Fantastic Line Up.”

  • Story poll series: Extended the narrative by asking followers which tool they liked best, using interactive storytelling to drive engagement and participation.

Each story slide personified a tool with simple taglines and distinct visual cues:

  • Fade Away FXNow you see it. Now you don’t.

  • Heat CheckIgnite the detail.

  • Rock FXBuilt tough. Cuts tougher.

  • Stretch FoilStretch the limits of precision.

MY ROLE: Art Direction, Design, Copywriting, and Social Execution

I aimed to merge the confidence of comic-book nostalgia with the polish of a modern luxury brand. The consistent set design, color palette, and tone gave every asset a collectible, cinematic quality. Small details like texture overlays, fire, and iridescent effects helped reinforce each tool’s personality while maintaining a clean, social-ready aesthetic.
