Aime Leon Dore x Sunday Walk (Spec Ad)

Aimé Leon Dore x Sunday Walks started as a speculative brand extension exploring how ALD could naturally expand into the pet category. The goal from an art direction point of view was to take ALD’s visual world and apply it to a new space while keeping the brand’s identity intact. The creative direction leaned into everything that makes ALD feel like ALD. Neutral backdrops, soft lighting, elevated textures, and styling that feels effortless rather than curated. Every element, from the wool play balls to the leather leash, was chosen to reflect the brand’s focus on natural materials and quiet luxury. The dog styling stayed minimal so the overall tone felt authentic instead of gimmicky. The talent direction followed the same approach. The posing and expressions were kept relaxed and grounded, which is consistent with ALD’s signature attitude. The relationship between the person and the dog needed to feel lived in and editorial, not overly posed or cutesy, so the pet naturally became part of the ALD lifestyle environment. Sunday Walks frames a simple story. It captures the feeling of stepping out with your dog on a slow weekend morning and treating that everyday moment with a little intention. The result is a visual world that feels intimate, stylish, and aligned with the brand. This project shows how ALD could enter the pet space in a way that feels seamless and true to the brand’s aesthetic. TLDR EXPLORED ALD'S EXPANSION INTO THE PET CATEGORY THROUGH A SPEC BRAND COLLABORATION THAT SEAMLESSLY INTEGRATED NATURAL MATERIALS, QUIET LUXURY, AND LIFESTYLE STORYTELLING TO POSITION THE BRAND AS AN AUTHENTIC, EFFORTLESS ENTRY INTO THE PET SPACE.
